Anyone else get the grey stuff on your wrist when you sweat or get your stainless watch wet? I only seem to get it on the inside right were the bracelet meets the watch. I didn't think this would happen on such high quality stainless.

I wear my Steelfish everyday (w/ bracelet) and I have never seen black on the wrist. And I work outside and sweat all day long. Now when I have used the cape cod cloths on my watches to shine them up, I had black stuff all over my hands. Is it possible that you just arent getting your watch clean enough after polishing?

I use a medium toothbrush and liquid hand soap about once a week.

It is most likely you get old residue, grease, dust and similar out on your wrist. When wearing the watch you'll collect quite a lot of grease/dust in the bracelet. Then when getting the watch wet or sweating, the moisture transports some of the residues to your wrist.

Nothing to worry about regarding the steel - just an indication to wash/rinse the bracelet more often.
