Hi,

I've just purchased my first Breitling navitimer 01 Ltd with the air racer metal strap, polished.

Love the watch but in 2 minds over the strap. Do i need 447a bracelet or can i fit a 442/423/425 bracelet? I can get hold of the latter cheaper.

Or should i keep the air racer bracelet?

Any chance of any others fitting as its double the price of the rest?

No, you need the one designed specifically for this edition of the watch. I empathize on the cost - just bought one two months ago. But IMO once you buy that and get a refund from the AD on the Air Racer, I think you will be delighted.

I've used the watch so in fairness won't be able to get a refund.

Are the end links available seperately? If so would they be interchangeable with the older bracelets?

Sorry for the numerous questions!

End links may fit another Navitimer bracelet but I wouldn't guarantee it. I suspect that you will also have trouble finding the links - no AD is going to sell you a cheaper bracelet plus 447a links.

My brother has a 2009 Navitimer with the navitimer bracelet. He is planning to sell it as he's after the transocean. I was thinking to stick on a leather strap on that, keep the bracelet and buy a new pair of end links if possible. I have know the AD here very very well so as long as Breitling can supply them i shouldn't have a problem obtaining. Just a case of whether they will fit!
