Post subject:  Breitling Late Model Chronomat. IS IT REAL??

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I just recently purchased my second Breitling. I bought this one used off of Ebay. It came with the box and papers showing it's an authentic. After reading about all the fakes, I'm curious if I've been had as well. Seller had excellent feedback and only dealt with watches. IWC's,Tudor,Rolex,Breitling, etc. It's an 18k/PS Chronomat with the 2 tone Pilot bracelet. I sized it myself and noticed that the gold links are not actually solid gold, but plated. Is this how it is? The bezel is supposed to be 18k gold as well. Not so sure now. Can't seem to find out on the net. Could someone verify this for me as I only have 3 more days left to return it for a full refund. Are the 2 tone bracelets gold plated? The watch cost me $2,255. 00

Item number was 120274040174. The model number stamped on the back is D13352

Somebody please verify this for me. Thank you

Hi, The gold is not plated but thin strips over the steel links as is the bezel.
The model number is correct for a chronomat, I would have expected it to have cost a bit more than that though.
How about a photo ?

Thank you. I just wanted to verify I wasn't another scammed victim. Fakes have come a long way recently. I offered the guy his starting bid price and he accepted. Thats how I received below usual value. It's a beautiful watch. My Colt will likely never see the light of day again. As for the photo, I don't know how to up load one to this forum. Pictures can be found on Ebay with the item number I posted. Easest way to see I suppose. Most of these same watches are going for $3,000 and up. Glad to have joined an informative and knoweldgeable forum for once.
