Hi, I just acquired this BB pre-loved a little over a week ago.

Noticed something strange (at least to me), when winding and setting from a complete stop. Somehow the minute hand can NOT be perfectly centered between minute markers when the second hand is at 30 ?!?! Now, after the watch is fully wound and set again the anomaly appears to correct itself. Still, I've never seen this before. Haven't had an AD authenticate yet - Otherwise feels and looks good based on potential replica feedback here.

Questions:
How is this even possible (w/gear intervals fixed)?
Is this normal for this movement+DD module?

Perhaps answering my own question here...

Could be a simple slack issue while setting the time. I'm used to passing the actual minute then backing into it. When I do this on the BB I notice that the minute hand doesn't appear to move until way late. This movement may not prefer the back-in set method.

All mechanical watches have slack in the running train, otherwise the would bind and not run. This always results in some free play in the hands and with a lower power reserve there is less tension in the running train which can cause it to appear different than with a full wind - no big deal.

No big deal is good, I'll take that.

Honestly never noticed this before on my others. I guess the greater the watch/risk the closer my scrutiny. May have to revert to buying cheaper watches to relax and enjoy. Thank you.

You don't have to see AD to authenticate it, no doubt it's real.
