hi ya'all,
just picked me up a chronomat circa mid-80's i think - it was pretty beat up and needs some TLC ...

Q - how do i get parts for this ling -i.e. authentic crown and seconds hand?

I droped it off to get fixed - quoted for overghaul is $700 - would like to get parts for shop before he over charges me these things
please help with any information or comments -

BTW can someone look up these serial numbers and tell me make and model and what year its from - also cost when it was new?

Breitling will only sell parts to their authorized channels. There is no way of getting your parts on your own, unless you find an AD/service center that is not following the book.

For an overhaul of a beaten up watch that old, I don't think $700 is overpriced.

For the numbers, I can't help I'm afraid.

For the numbers, no one can help I'm afraid.

Post 1978 there is no way to translate serial numbers. All you can do is contact Breitling directly and they can confirm what model the serial belongs to, when and where it was originally sold. Breitling will generally only provide this information to an AD so you'll have to work through them.
