Post subject:  Breitling Diamond quality

Hi, I got a Breitling Chronomat Evolution ( nr 764 ) as a birthday gift,a very nice watch and I like it much, but i do have one question that I have tried my best to get an answere to, the quality of the diamonds on the watch, the only thing I know is the total weight of the stones on the bezel and dial, that information is stated in the insurance paper.

I have been in contact with the store where the watch was purchased, the store owner said that Breitling did not provide a diamond certificate to their watches but he was pretty sure that they only used high quality stones, VVS- TW or higher was what he said, but he was not sure.

The general agent for Breitling didn“t have a clue.

Does anyone have more info about the diamond quality on a new Breitling, colour and clarity.

I have heard that Breitling diamonds are never any less than VVS2, but more usually VVS1. Colour is around the F mark I believe, which is pretty colourless.
