Post subject: | Avenger Bracelet Question |
Hello, I am new to the forum and to Breitling. I finally bought (off ebay) an E13360 titanium Avenger. The only problem I have is the clasp is worn/damaged. The seller did not disclose this, but the watch is otherwise in great condition (also came with all boxes, papers, links). The clasp will not snap shut and the only thing that keeps the band closed is the diver lock. I have a local AD that has a clasp for $175 or a rubber strap for $150-450. Can this be repaired or only replaced? (will get pics up when I can). Anyone know where to get a new band cheaper than an AD? |

Most of the aftermarket / grey market sellers are more expensive than ADs for bracelets and straps. Without knowing exactly what the issue is with the clasp not closing it's difficult to know if it can be repaired. Fundamentally it's 'just' bent metal, so should be fixable, but pictures will help when you can get them up. |

I didn't pay much over 2k for it and it's in good condition, I just don't want to have to pay another 500-1000 in bands or repairs. I can find another one that is fixed for that. I just missed a new bracelet and travel case on ebay for 375... ![]() |

Any idea what a jeweler or AD might charge to "gently adjust"? |

Thanks for that Roff! |

That almost fixes my problem. It does allow it to snap closed, but doesn't stay that way. I'm guessing it's because it's titanium. I think I'll just have a jeweler adjust it and polish it. Thanks Roff, you saved me a TON of $$!!!! |
