Hi, Is it ok to use Cape cod cloths on the gold rider tabs on my Aerospace?
Will/could it effect the Ti and can i use it on the gold parts of the bracelet as these are plated?
cheers

Probably best to tape off the Ti.

You can use Cape Cod on gold, just be aware that it does remove material so you will be microscopically thinning the gold. Because it's a laminated sheet 10 microns thick rather than a molecular plating it won't be as bad.

Not sure about the gold bits, but I'd avoid using it on the Titanium, unless you want it to come up like polished steel. Same goes for brushed steel.

According to the Instructions on my CC Tin, Cape Cod can be used 'very gently' on plated surfaces, but is not recommended for use on thinly plated surfaces.

EDIT - As usual, Roff just beat me to it....

just remember not to use anywhere ear the pressure you might on polished SS. Scratches on gold come out very, very easily. But you'll get plenty of practice, because they will all be back in a week anyway.

to polish gold, normal toothpaste and a soft tooth brush, assuming your watch is water resistant to allow a wash off. then buff with a micro fiber cloth

Hmmmm, not sure I'd personally go with toothpaste myself as some can be quite abrasive : much better to use a proprietary polishing compound specifically designed for gold IMO.... like Cape Cods. But each to their own.

Yeah, toothpaste is far too abrasive for me to even think about using.

The rouge impregnated polishing clothes work well on gold. Any jewelry supply house should have them.
