My 2006 model Evolution loses about a minute a week. I've spoken to my jeweler/auth.dealer and they say that's carachteristic of an automatic movement. Hmmm Please tell they don't know what they're talking about. I baby this watch, keep it in a winder when not wearing . Does not see rough service or water. Should I send it in, do something different?

Well it's a COSC certified watch so -4 to +6 seconds a day is 'normal'. Ordinarily the watch would need servicing, but if it's a 2006 it shouldn't need that yet - I'd push the AD to take a look - presumably warranty is expiring soon!!

Your skyland is also COSC certified so it it isn't within the -4 to +6 seconds a day range, and clearly 30 seconds a day isn't then it needs to be regulated by your AD.

Looks like the ADs need to be reminded of 1 of the reasons someone will pay upwards of £1500 for a watch.

When you can buy a radio controlled watch which keeps better time for a fraction of the cost of a 'ling it's pretty poor that they aren't taking these guys expectations seriously.

Go back, take your COSC cert with you, and insist that they get them sorted.

The advice you've got is indeed the way to go. What happened when you re-visited the AD?

I don't understand what these ADS not wanting to take a look at these watches, what is the problem, you pay so much money and they don't want to look at the watch? hmm i think theres a reason why people pay more than 2000 dollars for these babies.

Have them look at it, enough of this!!
Regards
Nick
