I just noticed that my Chrono Colt II is off by almost 30 seconds after only owning it for a month. Is this a problem??

The Chrono Colt II is quartz, so 30 seconds in a month is too much. If it was an automatic it'd be doing very well, but as it's quartz (and SQ at that) it shouldn't be that much out after only a month.

Others certainly can reply, but trust me, if your Chrono Colt II has the model number A73380 (which is the Chrono Colt II model number incidentally), the "3" in the middle of the model number (i.e. A73380) means it is a Chronometer rated movement, and as it's quartz, that means an average daily rate of +/-0.07 seconds per day.

So at the very worst, in a month of 30 days you shouldn't expect a deviation of any more than 2.1 seconds (0.07 x 30). If yours is 30 seconds wrong in a month, your watch has a problem and needs adjusting.

Driver8 is absolutely correct.

Can't argue with D8's maths! Something is not right and it needs to go to Breitling to get checked out.
