Have owned a titanium Aerospace for 4 years and have really enjoyed it. I'm looking to buy a new Chronomat Evolution, and have found one on Amazon.com that they are selling themselves. The price is good, better than I can get it for at a retailer, but it only has their Amazon 2 year warranty, which is to be expected.

My question is, has anyone had any experience buying through Amazon, and was it good, bad, or indiferrent? Any experience with trying to deal with their warranty dept? The price is attractive, but I'm reluctant to give up having the local service of the dealer.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Tom

First off, no one's "just another noob" around here

Take a look at this thread from earlier today - not much experience, but a heads up on the serial numbers - http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3171

Grabdwag, beware that most of the watches sold on amazon.com are for other sellers, that it is to say amazon is just an outlet for them. You have to be very careful reading the rating of the seller (there is a clear link for that) and also be very careful in reading all the details provided about the watch. Some of the watches offered have the original manufacturer warranty (obviously should be a plus) and other watches have the seller warranty only.
