Post subject:  Looking for factory double-row diamond bezel for S. Avenger
Good evening,

As the heading states, I am looking for a factory diamond bezel for my Super Avenger. Apparently, they are fairly hard to locate because they only come with the watch now, and, I guess, this is why they cost around $3K. If anyone has any info on locating them, at a cheaper price, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

You will struggle to find an OEM (factory) diamond bezel because Breitling do not sell them separately. If you want an OEM diamond bezel Breitling you have to order it like that from the outset. Your only options are eBay and possibly throwing a WTB ad up in the sales forum here, and on other watch forums. But as I say the odds of finding one are quite slim as it would require someone who bought an SA with a diamond bezel, now wanting to take a massive hit to change it to a standard bezel. Not impossible, just highly unlikely.

If you want to go the non-OEM route you will find a number of places offering that kind of thing on eBay, but quality can vary considerably........ and even the very best non-OEM aren't a patch on the factory version.

You think they'll be taking a massive hit? SA with a diamond bezel runs about 5.5-7k on eBay. The one without the bezel goes for about 4.5k brand new.

You're comparing used with new there, so of course the prices are closer. Have a look at the list price of a brand new diamond bezel SA and then compare that to the list price of a brand new standard SA and you'll see a considerable difference, so yes I'd say they'd be taking a pretty big hit.
