Just a quickie! How the hell do you clean behind the "fan blades" on the caseback? I have an "untrasonic" type jewellery cleaner - would it be OK to use this? I saw doctor deisels was immaculate whenever he's posted pics. Any suggestions or tips appreciated - cheers. |

If you use an ultrasonic bath on a mechanical watch while the movement is in it you will likely shake all of the jewels out of their settings, and I can't believe that it's good for a Quartz either - after all, that crystal is still vibrating. |

Yeah it's only ultrasonic (ish) - really just an immitation kind of vibrating jewellery cleaner not an industrial cleaner. It doesn't vibrate at any sort of high frequency - runs on 2 AA batteries! I hadn't considered internal damage tho' - was more worried about the B-1 leaking as it's only water resistant to 50M. |

Cheers - will persevere. Tried it half heartedly but without the soapy water & hoped there would be some magic method. Just lazy I guess - thanks chaps. |

Hi John No, not yet. I'm watching a couple on eBay (Germany) but a few days to go yet. They seem to go from £65 to £70 quid which is reasonable compared to some of the Buy Now prices £100 plus. If you're offering please PM me and we can agree a price. I'm itching to try that blue shark on mine. |
