Hey Curt,

They're both great so you won't go wrong either way. I personally prefer the Blackbird (high on my own wanted list) but you have to try them both on and see which one talks to you - it's the only way!

Good luck,

Nick

:yeahthat Both watches are very nice, and similar in lots of ways. the Blackbird's movement (with the large dual window date) is a little more rare than the Chronomat, but there's not a lot else in it between the two. The Blackbird is brushed (currently at least. The new model will be polished.), while the Chronomat is polished so has a little more "bling".

As swiftnick says, there's no substitute to going and trying them on.

I suggest go for the Blackbird AND the white dialled Chrono Evo on a brown croco strap. I am definitely considering getting the second combination at some point.

The current Blackbird is both polished (sides) AND brushed (upper faces)...not a feature you really see from the usual photos, but it makes the Blackbird rather special.
