Attachment: DSC02607.jpg I had a terrifying moment today, I couldn't believe it but my Blackbird from 2004's bracelet came off. I've tried to put it back together again but the pressure pins on each end of the bracelet appear to have been damaged, Hence why it came apart to begin with. Obviously I am looking for two pins that would fit my watch and I've found that stores aren't to fond of selling parts for Breitlings but want to send it off for about 600 bucks, and for a good couple of months too. How can I get the parts i need? Please help! |

Your local Breitling AD should have them or any high end Jewlliers. Just ask them, you do not need to send the whole watch away for something so small like that. Just to add that, I had the problem once on a Rolex, they did it for free, the pins are the cheapest things on the watch. |

I would take it to a local authorized Breitling dealer, however, the closest one is located 4 hours drive from me in Calgary and I won't have errands there until the Calgary Stampede in three weeks. I've barely taken my watch off since I bought it way back in the ninth grade! |

the breitling springbars are special polished to make a tight fit its one model to straps and another to bracelet get the right one so you don't drop your watch It's not going to break your bank, but don't go putting any old spring bars on it. The watch is worth more than the Springs bars so do it right. |

You're absolutely right, parts of inferior quality at a tacky local jewelry store with neon signs in the window, would be a cruel destiny for my watch. I'll just have to wait... =( |

If you've had the watch since 2004 without taking it off then it needs a service. Send it for that and the springbars will take care of themselves. |
