Hi all!
I have an Aerospace (F85062) and last week I noticed that the watch started to have problems keeping on time; loosin about 15 minutes in an Hr!!! I send it to an authorized Breitling service and they told me the problem was in the movement and it had to be replaced, cost: Us$700. I decided not to repair it at that moment. But I when I went to pick it up from the service I noticed that it was working perfectly!!!! The question is: ¿what could have been the problem?¿Is it normal in a 10 year old watch?¿Do this kind of watch, with quartz movement, need some kind of lubrication or something?
Thank you all in advance.

I've had quartz watches in the past require an actual maintenance every 5-6 years in addition to battery changes. Post also moved to Breitling Help forum...

I changed the battery a year ago, besides, the aerospace tell you when it`s running out of battery by blinking the lcd displays. The thing I didn`t like was that I may have wasted $700 in a perfectly working watch. I didn`t expect that from an official Breitling service. They told me the movement it`s a sealed unit and they only can change it for a new one. ¿Do they lubricate this kind of watches?
T. you.
