Hi all,

I have recently purchased a pre-owned Emergency (yellow face, diver pro strap- (ironic really, given the Emergency’s short comings in water resistance!)). It arrived today and it looks fantastic but, as it didn’t come with the User Manual, I’m struggling with a few things that someone on here might be able to help me with:

• How do I change the time? I’ve tried pulling the crown out and pushing it in but I can’t get the hands to move.
• How do I switch between the digital modes? Its currently on Timer and when I pull the crown out and turn I can adjust this but I can’t seem to switch between the different modes. Again, I have tried pushing the crown in with no luck.

I really hope someone on here can help as this info seems to be impossible to come by on Google and I understand new User Manuals aren’t sold by Breitling.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

P.S. I will post pics on here for everyone’s enjoyment once I get home tonight.

Congratulations with a cool watch :D

First you need to select time mode by turning the crown quickly to scroll through the functions. When you get to time mode, pull out the crown and turn it fast or slow for minutes or hours. When you press it in again, the seconds will flash, and if you push the crown, you will reset the seconds.

Hello experienced EM Owners,

may I bother you with a BE question please. I do not have the device with which I can test the frequency. I pressed a toothpick into the test button and the chronograph started to beep every 2.25 secs. In Alarm mode however I was expecting this device to switch from on to off all the time and nothing happened. Is this normal? Is there another way please to check if the transmitter works?

Thanks, Peter

If you find someone with a radio capable of receiving on 121.5 mhz, you will be able to hear the audio transmission when you press the test button. Go to the local flying club and ask if you can try it on one of the radios. The watch might need to be quite close to the antenna.
