Tomorrow, May 24,2011 at 2:52pm edt is the last quarter of the moon. I just got my montbrillant olympus Friday! What a beauty.

Please tell me how to set the moon phase dial to reflect the last quarter at 2:52pm, tomorrow. Please let me know ASAP, all you pros out there.

I have a beautiful blue dial and I love everything about it. Will write more after I find out how to set moon dial.

Thanks, Steve

Only help I can give is a copy of the relevant page from the manual.

The moon phase does a full rotation in 59 days - two 29 1/2 day cycles. Therefore if you start counting from the 'new' moon (when it first appears the third quarter will be 22 (or 23) presses.

Thanks Roff for that most accurate and interesting reply.

Thanks to both of you, shark and. roff, for your always timely and accurate answer to my questions.

My Breitling is a beauty and Andrew Michaels jewelers was a great AD to work with, from start to finish!

I use this as a rough guide to setting my moonphase.
