Hi,
Total newbie here, both to this board and to my newly purchased, pre-owned Breitling Aerospace (F75362). Having some initial issues of concern that I hope the veterans can help me with.

Right out of the box, I have nothing in the digital displays. And nothing appears there when I rotate the crown in the neutral position. As I understand it, that is supposed to switch the digital displays between functions. If I pull out the crown, I get an R in the upper and the digital time in the lower, which is standard for synch-ing the digital and analog time. After doing that and pushing the crown back in my displays go blank again. And rotating the crown still has no effect. The repetition-minute feature works fine and the watch is running okay so my guess is it's not the battery. Any ideas? Is it me?

The crown needs to be given a quick flick to change displays rather than steadily turning it. I use the side of my index finger on the underside of the crown which seems to work most of the time.

Yeah, call it operator error. I was quite surprised to see that the crown needed to be spun aggressively to cause the display to change. It seemed counter-intuitive at first but then the more I thought about it it made sense. Normal arm and wrist movement during the course of a day would be making the display change repeatedly if all it took was a mild turning of the crown.

Breitling could have saved me a lot of worry and frustration if they had only described the necessary technique in the owner's manual.
