Can anyone advise what is the problem
I have got a breitling Crosswind and sometimes the minute sub dial does not work. I find that if I always wear the watch it works perfectly but if I wear it for a short amount of time and put it down then it seems to stick mainley between the 25min and the 30 min part of the sub dial
Can anyone suggest what maybe the problem or does it just nees a good service

All I can guess (and it IS a guess as I'm not a watchmaker) is that maybe the oils are getting a little sticky with age. Afterall, we're talking about very small and very light components here, so it doesn't take much to throw them off a little.

Irrespective of the reason I would say that a service is definitely in order. I'm guessing your Crosswind is at least 4 or 5 years old, so if it's never been serviced, it's probably due one anyway.

I think it pretty much applies to your watch as well. Nothing a service can't fix, but make sure you mention it when you drop it off for repair, otherwise they might "look over" that problem!
Good luck!

 Well I guess I was HALF right - i.e. it needs a service!

I think I'm going to leave the problem diagnosis stuff to the pros from now on! :)
