Question about Super Avenger arabic numerals

Post subject:  Question about Super Avenger arabic numerals
Im in the process of searching for a Super Avenger, and I noticed something odd with the arabic numerals.....the specific part being the 8 and the 10

Some I see look like this: The 8 and 10 are only slightly cut off by the subdials

According to the Breitling website, the top half of the 8 is COMPLETELY cut off by the subdial

This is the watch in question (i know you cant make a judgement based off the image:

Is it possible there is a difference on the face based on the year?

I am going to see it in person this weekend, but I wanted to do some research for quick tell-tale signs of being a fake.

There was a dial change from the small wings with full 8 to big wings and cut off 8 a few years ago. Sorry I can't be more specific.

I'll try and add some insight:

My 2009 chronolog shows the SA with solid arabics, small wings and no cutoff eight, slight cutoff ten.

My 2010 chronolog shows the SA with stencil arabics, large wings and deep cutoff of both the eight and ten.

If the literature is accurate (pictures mind you), looks like a change in dials from 2009 to 2010.

Small wings : no cut off of 8 and 10
Big wings : slight cut off (old)
Big wings : big cut off (current)

My Super Avenger Air Force Blue with silver subs........purchased 29 dec 2009....from a recognised AD is as the picture shows.
