hi, new on here today, been collecting watches for a few years.just added a new one to my collection ![]() recieved it today but have major concerns its not genuine ![]() has a 7750 movement but also on the movement the eta mark. All my google searches suggest this movement should not be in a genuine watch and are used in counterfeit watches.I've taken the watch to my local expert (30 years) he's on the fence. there are breitling marks on the movement, not engraved but well moulded and the rest of the watch seems to be right.I can send the watch off to get it authenticated but just thought i'd ask if anyone could shed some light on this. regards |

I can't comment on your concerns on the movement obviously, but the watch itself is real. |

thanks like i said it all looks good just the eta mark? i've been digging online for hours,it seems from what i can see the fraudsters are putting the same movement in fake watches that are in the genuine.i've phoned breitling uk parts centre and they say the movent is just a 7750 no mention on eta yet the c13 movement on here quotes eta/valjeux 7750 movement. the style of this model just happens to be one thats commonly copied in this manner so will post movement pics as soon as i can. |

EVERY 7750 used by Breitling have the ETA mark and 'Breiling' on the rotor, in different styles, depends on which year the movement was produced. it's never written B13 on the movement! and the watch is real. ![]() |

99.99% of fakes use an Asian copy of the ETA 7750, not a genuine one, no matter what may be claimed on the replica web sites. A few years ago, there were a few Evos available that used a genuine ETA movement but were priced at close to that of a used gen so I doubt they sold many! |
