Pretty sure I've not over looked anything but thought its worth the ask as being away from my Breitling for 14 days is gonna kill me!

When I use the stopwatch I only just noticed - after 5 months! that the top dial (minutes) does not keep on track, especially when the watch is moving alot during counting. For example the Minutes will say 7 when it should be 10. The bottom dial (Hours) is fine as is the second counter.

Is this a popular problem? Any ideas?

Jim

Hey Jim, if it is what I think it is, it is a fairly easy fix, yet it still needs to be sent in...

The chrono-second-counting-wheel has a little "finger" underneath the wheel that meets the teeth of an intermediate minute counting wheel, which moves that wheel once a minute, when it made a full turn. That little finger probably just needs to be bent a little, because I don't think it's regulated perfectly where it should have enough strenght to push that minute wheel every time.
Hope that makes sense....

Make sure you explain precisely what's wrong with it, so the watchmaker knows where to start looking.

Good luck!
