I have a Breitling watch and have no clue how to set it there is a number on the back, maybe the serial number? It is E50121.1. My husband had bought it on a tour overseas, it was returned with his belongings when he did not make it back from Iraq. My son just turned 16 and I want to pass it on to him but I cannot find this particular model on the web site and no manual was in his belongings. If anyone knows where i can find this information I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you and God bless. |

I'm sorry, but Breitling have never produced a watch with that reference number. Are you able to post some pictures of the watch? |

I will get some pictures of it when my daughter is here today and get it posted for you. Let me make sure that number was right, it was on the back of the watch. 56121.1, Sorry it was hard to read. I'll work on getting the pics up today. Thanks for your response! |

That number makes more sense - a first generation Emergency - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... al_33.html |

Perfect! thank you, it does not look exactly like the picture but there is a button on the side that says antenna and on the back it says transmitter made in France. Now I just need to learn what nobs to turn to set it. Thank you so much, I am a step closer. My son will cherish it. |

Alright, well let's be clear on one thing before we start - I don't mean to scare you, but this is important....... The knob that says antenna is connected to an emergency transmitter. If that knob is unscrewed and the wire (antenna) inside is pulled out and then pulled again an Emergency transmitter will be activated that will result in the emergency services surrounding you in very short order. Not only will the watch be ruined, you will be facing a $50,000 fine. I am sure that there are members here with an Emergency who can guide you on setting the watch - these quartz pieces are set with the crown, but it's a bit more complex than a mechanical ![]() |
