Anyone have comments (good or bad) on the croc deployment band?...For those not familier, the deployment style has either a leather or croc strap, but uses a braclet stlye latch instead of the traditional strap buckle...more $$ (+$250) but gives you adjustment capability for a perfect fit and latches as a one-piece strap.

tks

I have two Breitlings on croco straps and both have deployants. Personally I'd never own an ordinary tang and buckle strap as they just don't last as long. The deployant reduces the tension on the strap enormously and keeps it looking good for longer. The deployant also looks way more classy IMHO.

Breitling croco straps are harder and thus less flexible than leather, especially when new, but I personally just think the look and feel of croco is hard to beat.

The deployant does wrap around your wrist a fair way, so definitely try one on, but the combo of croc and deployant is hard to beat (at least as far as straps go).

Another echo in the room. deployant is the only way I go with a Breitling. Only small downside i do find is that they tend to slip a little bigger over time and i have to adjust it.

Great...tks for the upcheck (...the answer I was hoping for...)...

Putting a black croc deployant on Bentley Motors with an Anthracite face....have the buckle on now; can't beleieve how much I like the cface with the black croc....striking and very elegant...a bit more relaxed on the bling-factor with such a big watch.

Will post pics soon...

tks again all...
