Please help! I have a custom ordered B-1 that is 2 years old. I was flying the other night and hit the backlight 2-3 times in a row. The analog displays began to flash repeatedly and haven't stopped. The backlight will not come on now either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Yeah 2 years to the day i got my aerospace avantage it started flashing on both screens in every mode, and the backlight wont come on. Is it some kind of indication that the battery is low? I can't explain it! Please Help! |

I don't own an Aerospace (nor have I in the the past) but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a battery EOL indicator. Most Breitling quartz watches show an impending battery failure by making the second hand jump 4 seconds (I think) instead of the usual 1. Obviously the Aerospace doesn't have a second hand, so this may well be the way it indicates battery EOL. I also think the battery life on this model is generally between 2 and 3 years, so I guess that fits too. Either way, it's a trip to an AD, so if it is something other than the battery they will know what to do in any case. Good luck guys. |

The low battery warning on the B-1 is for EOL (End of Life) to be displayed on the upper display and the lower display to flash. If both displays are flashing, this may be a sign of something more serious. Either way, a visit to the AD should sort things out. |

Thanks for your help guys. Its not a B1 though, its an aerospace avantage. The watch is working fine, only thing wrong with it is the back light no longer comes on and and the upper and lower displays flash. Oh well, i got my first battery change free as part of the deal when i brought it so guess i should take it back to the shop. Again, thanks for your help guys! |
