They won't replace the bezel without your approval.
They'll investigate the cause of the chrono problem, and in theory can refuse warranty service if the damage is caused by misuse, but that will require an analysis of the movement, just because the case is dinged doesn't mean that is the reason that the movement is damaged.
Practically, it's unlikely that they will refuse to cover the work unless they can prove misuse - usually water damage in a watch that passes the pressure test.
