Hello fellow enthusiast I have just purchased a beautiful Colt GMT Automatic unfortunately I don't have any owners manual to answer my questions. The first being how do you adjust the GMT hand or is it non adjustable.

Secondly I also purchased a Colt Quartz and have been doing some reading on it and came across a EOL signal on this watch can anyone tell me what this signal or warning be.

Yes I bought both and am now looking for wrist band as they both came without.

Thank You for reading looking forward to doing the same soon.

Welcome to the forum.

Do a google search for the manual with '.pdf' after the model name.

The GMT hand is indeed adjustable.

Since you don't have an owners manual let me first caution you that you should not attempt to change the date using the quick set date function or wind time backwards between the hours of 8:00PM and 3:00AM. In doing so you may damage the mechanism. You should rotate the crown clockwise to advance the time forward outside of this range. I find it simplest, instead of attempting to ascertain whether it is PM or AM, to simply set the time to 6:00. If you do this you can be assured that you are outside of the "danger zone" irregardless of AM or PM.

Now, the Colt GMT crown has three positions (four if you include the screwed down position).
On the first position with the crown unscrewed you can wind the watch.
The second position has a dual purpose. If you turn the crown clockwise it advances the GMT hand one hour with each click. Counterclockwise changes the date.
The third position changes time.

The clicks are very close together and require a light touch.

Hope this helps.
