Hope this is ok to ask.

The above is a topic on another forum.
Wonder if anyone would like to comment please on what the op is saying about conditions that
the B1 would withstand.
Especially the humidity and rain and altitude all in one.

Thank in advance

Colin

Another example of a salesman having no idea what they are talking about.

It would make sense to have the seals checked more often than just battery changes if it's prolonged exposure, but the B1 would be more than happy to live in those conditions.

Well, I'm sure the B1 would take some abuse, but surely is not a watch design to be in the water very often. It's 50m rate it's an indication that it's a watch made for other purposes.

I have a Seiko black monster too, and in fact is the one I take when I go diving (I'm advanced open water certified). So, if you ask me, I wouldn't use the B1 in the same way I use my Seiko, in the same way that I wouldn't use my Navi World in the same way I use my rolex gmt.

Right but the question is about use in hot / humid / high altitude environments, not underwater.

I don't agree with the AD and I think a B1 would be fine although an Aerospace with 100m water resistance would be better.....The Titanium would suit a hot climate a lot better too.

I hear you Roffensian, I'm sure that in hot / humid / high altitude environments the B1 would perform flawlessness.
