Hello all,

I've got my SA now for more than one year and I noticed that sometimes the chrono was stuck on 25 minutes. So last saturday I brought it to my AD and they immediatly said they would send it to breitling to be checked under warrenty.
Now my question is seeing I always wear my SA it occaisionly bumps into things causing some slight dents. Can breitling say it's my fault then that the chrono sometimes doesn't passes the 25 minute mark?
And secondly will they replace the dameged bezel without asking me if I'm ok, cause I don't want to get a bill for 500€ for replacements I didn't ask.

Regards

They won't replace the bezel without your approval.

They'll investigate the cause of the chrono problem, and in theory can refuse warranty service if the damage is caused by misuse, but that will require an analysis of the movement, just because the case is dinged doesn't mean that is the reason that the movement is damaged.

Practically, it's unlikely that they will refuse to cover the work unless they can prove misuse - usually water damage in a watch that passes the pressure test.
