Post subject:  newbie from the UK needs some advice

Hi
I have a Breitling Super Avenger with a Prossional 11 strap - model code A13370
In the Uk we have loads of snow, and whilst out walking the dogs I took a tumble and landed on my wrist on the only exposes part of concreat in view!!
I have scratched the closing clasp - its the bigger part that says" BRIETLING 1884"

I think the scratches are too deep to polish out - therefore I would like to buy a new part, I am on a budget and cannot afford a new bracelet

Would this part be available second hand or exchange?

Any pointers would be great

Regards

Jonathan

Welcome aboard.
It's hard to find just the clasp.
Best solution is to go to your AD and he can order it for you.

Hi Jonathan and welcome,

Parts of damaged bracelets do appear on the bay now and then, might be a fun hunting trip.

I think count yourself very lucky on this one. Think of the thread you would have had to post if it was the case that was hit or the face was smashed in or even worst, in that you may have been injured in the fall. Take it to a good AD who knows maybe they may be able to repair/polish it. If not they can send it for repair. It may be a excuse for you to get a nice strap for your self while its away  . Either way good luck with it. :lingsrock:

In the UK we have Brasso,Autosol, and products like this........if its scratches and not mishaped casings or fasteners..........these type of products can be sorted with some patience.
Seeing as it is on the bracelet and not the Ling itself i would imagine any decent jeweller could polish out scratches without worrying about the warranty...........
