Will a deployant buckle from a Pilot Bracelet work on an appropriately sized deployant strap? Has anyone here done the switch? Thanks, Dean

Not without some modification to either the strap, the clasp, or both! The proper Breitling deployant designed for use with their straps is quite a different design. I'm not saying it can't be done, but to be honest I'm not sure why you'd want to as the Pilot bracelet is way to nice to dismantle, and you could probably score a genuine used deployant on the Bay for less than £100.

The only reason that I wondered is because I am considering a pre owned Chronomat with Pilot Bracelet and I want a Black Croc Strap with deployant buckle instead. I didnt know if I needed a new buckle or I could use the bracelet buckle.

I hope you could get a used deployant for under GBP100 - list price here in Canada is only $200!!!
