Just bought a Avenger Seawolf, with ser. no. 1098057. Can anyone tell me the age of the watc

Not from the serial number.

What you need to do is remove the strap from bottom of the watch head (i.e. the end that the "6" on the dial is nearest). You'll then be able to see 4 numbers stamped between the lugs on the watch case. The first two numbers are the week it was made. The last two are the year. So if the numbers are "3408", the watch was made in week 34 of 2008.

Serial numbers haven't aged the watch since 1978.

Sorry for hijacking this thread. I just checked my new Chrono B01 and it had an 1410B4 marking. Anyone know what the B4 stands for?

Thanks, It looks like then that B4= Blackeye Gray

That's not confirmed.
B marks a black dial, but official dial color is marked with a letter and three digits.
There's one member here (long time inactive) who works for Breitling, he should know that.
