I recently received a Breitling Emergency as a gift. It is covered with diamonds, so I assume it to possibly be a diamondworks piece as well. The back of the watch indicates that it is no. 9 in a limited edition of 25. I cannot locate any data on the watch itself anywhere on the Breitling site. Any idea where I can find out more?

Welcome aboard.
There is LE /25 of that watch indeed.
Should have almost 5.5 carats and retail was around $100k.

Thanks for the reply! Any idea where I could find out more? I have scoured the Internet looking for more data, but cannot find anything. Unfortunately, it needs batteries--I guess that I will need to send it to Breitling for installation...

The emergency runs on batteries--at least that is what the information says in the paperwork. Can you provide more information on why it is fake?

Ups, wrong thread.
Disregard my previous (deleted) post.
I'll look at the chronologs tomorrow and see if some more info is available.
It's almost 3 AM here, I mixed threads.

:uselesspics:

Sorry, I just really want to see what a $100k Emergency looks like.

 Wow!

Not remotely my kind of thing, but you can't fault the workmanship on that. I think a genuine Diamondworks piece is a first for this site.

Nice gift to receive BTW! I think I need to know the same people!

Not really my thing either, but I am certainly very excited to have such a watch! Fortunately, I have a Colt to wear on a daily basis.

That is one hell of a gift!

Strange juxtaposition of the very "tool" emergency and the "elegance" of diamonds but is an amazing piece nonetheless.

Found some photos of WG and YG in '99, '00 and '01 Chronologs, but nothing else.

bnewbie,

Thanks for looking--I appreciate the assistance. I guess, at this point, I am going to go directly to Breitling to find out more. The watch has to be sent back for maintenance anyway. I'll post more information to the board when, and if, I find out anything more...
