I have a super avenger purchased in feb. brand new. I didn't wear the watch for a while and did not have it in a winder. I corrected the date and have noticed that while all other movements are correct the date is not adjusting. I can pull the pin to position 2 and manually set the date but it does not change on its own. I also noticed that when i spin the time to go past midnight it does not change either......Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you set the date while the watch was between 8pm and 3am?

99% of these problems are caused by bent or broken teeth on the date wheel caused by improper use of the quick set date.

It's covered by warranty if you don't tell them you did it, and if they don't push the issue (they generally don't). Technically they can refuse warranty repair because it's a user caused problem and the manual tells you all about it.

There's nothing you can do, it needs to go back to Breitling.

Thanks, I purchased the watch on ebay however I have all the papers and warranty book. Do I take it to a dealer or mail it direct? Will I have issues due the the fact that I purchased it from an individual. It was purchased from the dealer in feb of this year. I purchased it in april.

No and yeah it would. I think that only models that it doesn't affect are the one's with the B01 movement, but I could be wrong.

It affects all watches without an instant date change - B01, Cockpit, etc.

There's no sticky because all you have to do is read the manual!!!

@FL_Avenger, you can send it directly to BUSA or take it to an AD to send in for you - your choice. If you have the paperwork then it doesn't matter that you aren't the first owner or that you bought it from an individual.
