Hi all

can anyone advise me pls of the options I have to change from the Fighter bracelet on a B2?

I have looked around the net and there is conflicting information that a Pilot bracelet will fit on it

I would greatly appreciate anyone who can confirm this, and also anyone input as to why people don't seem to like the fighter bracelet? Would a pilot give the watch a better look ?

Finally anyone point me in a good direction to get a 2nd hand Pilot?

thank you
Phil.

This is the first I've ever heard of "people" not liking the fighter bracelet. I think it's a great bracelet.

Fighter is an awesome bracelet. There's no Pilot designed for it, which one were you told would fit?

Someone mounted some Pilot on B1 and if I remember well, it was a pretty decent fit.

The 22mm Pilot bracelet with the 350A end links from a Headwind will fit both the B-1 and B-2. HOWEVER, there will be a slight gap (about half a millimeter) between the endlink and the case. As it is not a "snug" fit the endlink will move against the case. Also ithe top profile of the Pilot does not follow the curve of the case of the B-1 and B-2, but in my opinion the Pilot still looks great on a B-1 or 2

There is also the option of using the 354A or 357A endlinks too but the 350A is considered the best fit.

Hope this helps.

Gav is absolutely correct. I have fitted both the 350A (Crosswind, Headwind) Pilot bracelet and the 357A (Chronomat Evolution) Pilot bracelet onto my B-1 (Identical case and end link geometry to the B-2. The 874A "Fighter" bracelet is specified for both watches in the Sales Handbook.) and although they look nice, the gap is noticeable when the end link rotates its flat surface away from the case. Below is an older pic of my B-1 with the Evo's 357A "Pilot" bracelet attached. Before I took the pic, I "nudged" the end link against the case so the gap would not be noticeable. Further, as Gav indicated, the shoulder "arch" of the B-1 or B-2 case is not matched to the "flat" top edge of the Pilot bracelet like the correct 874A "Fighter" bracelet end links. Hope this helps...
Best,
Ron

Since both are discontinued, will Breitling still have the replacement bracelets for B1 and B2?
Or the only way to obtain would be to look for a used one?

You might be better to contact your local AD to see if :-

1) Breitling can still supply new from the factory as they will still have to supply spares for older bracelets
or
2) If any of the AD network still have new old stock (NOS).

Certainly NOS and second hand bracelets come up on the auction sites from time to time. Just make sure you get the correct endlinks supplied if you are not purchasing through an AD.
