The simple answer to your question is "any number of things" I'm afraid! Could be a battery change required as I think they last around 3 year or so. But likewise it could be something else. Very tough for us to answer on here, so I suggest you take it to a Breitling AD as soon as you can. |

It's honestly hard to say. The battery is the most minor and most easily rectified problem, and probably the most likely given the age of the watch. But until an AD looks at it, you just don't know. |

If it has run well all the time and you haven't had any big impact/accidents, I'd also guess it's the battery that needs to be changed. But as already said - there's only one way to find out. Visit your AD. If you're unfortunate and it's not the battery, then you're still in the right shop to find out. |

![]() ![]() the total amount ...is 530 euro ![]() they put in a couple of things.... -battery -Gaskets -Pulse sensors ... -Complete Service Quartz Chronograph (that is fast for a 3year old watch) They said because the isnt bought in The Netherland but in Greece the warenty in only 2 years and when I bought it in The Netherlands it is 3 years... Also the first owner already replaced the battery but not with the right one they put in normal....Thats crap for me ... I keep you informed about the watch when I get it back... |

That really sucks about the expense.. but in my experience dealing with Luxury watch AD's and servicing, any time there is a battery change unless you tell them "I would like the battery changed only" They will send it in for a complete service and gasket change. This is probably better for the watch but sometimes its nice to just spend $40 instead of $500+.. Granted it sounds like there was something else wrong with the watch as well in your case.. |
