Post subject:  Bracelet for a Navitimer

Help required. I have a recent Navitimer with the silver (or white to some folks) dial. I am seriously considering replacing the leather strap with a bracelet. The Pro II on my Steelfish has convinced me it deserves better than leather.

Question is - which is the best bracelet for a Navitimer? Advice appreciated.

Also, any idea of cost in UK?

Thanks.

The bracelet is also called Navitimer and has 7 rows.
Price in EU is 940€ for SS.

Yes, well the leather does actually look quite nice.

And SS would only get scratched. And caught on my shirtcuff, and scuff my laptop keyboard.

So maybe £705 could be better spent on...

Another watch!

Seriously though, thats a serious price. The other half is in NZ at present I'll ask her to price one there before I gulp! visit my local AD.

Thanks for the help.

The Navitimer SS Bracelet is in my opinion, one of the most beautiful bracelets in existence today. Furthermore, it feels like it looks,....fantastic!! You can find it on line for around $1150.00USD.
Good luck

940 Euros, £705 or $1150.

I feel ill.

I need therapy.

I shall call my AD in the morning.

There, I have convinced myself.

She's away in NZ, I have 14 days in which to accomplish my mission should I choose to accept it.

She will never notice.

I'm more convinced now.

Yeah I originally bought a bracelet for my blue World (at a painful cost of £705!) but the croco suited that colour dial better. However the bracelet is now happily sitting on my silver dial World and it looks superb IMHO. If your Navi is white (or silver) you can't go wrong with the bracelet. Spend, spend, spend! :)

I have been quoted between an extra NZ$900 and NZ$1600 to upgrade a strap to a bracelet as part of a watch purchase. (£354 - £630)

I'll be interested in what figure she comes back with for the bracelet alone. Please let me know.

If she picks it up on her way out of the country she can avoid 12.5% sales tax.

I don't plan to pay our local rip-off prices and so I don't want to waste the time of our local ADs too much. Right now, buying from the US seems the best way to go from my point of view.

Thanks Chronomuppet, just emailed the other half in NZ to send her on the mission to bring one back if cheaper.

Woke her up though, didnt realise your clocks went back last night!

I'll let you know what price she is quoted.

Btw, how many ADs are there in NZ? She's in Nelson wherever that is.

Rgds

Steve

Thanks CM and all. When she has drunk her way through the entire local stock of Cloudy Bay I'm sure she will find her way to the Ads of Auckland. Will keep you posted on what she can negotiate by way of a deal.
