Post subject:  Navitimer Subdial not resetting back to 30/0

I hate that this is my first post but a family member passed away and left me a Navitimer, it was purchased back in 2007, and it looks like it was never worn, never serviced, and sat in storage in the original box for years. I got the box, read the manual, wound it up, its flawless and beautiful, however I noticed an issue. When I use the stopwatch function, the minutes sub dial works, however does not reset back to 30 or 0, instead it resets back to 27. The hour subdial is at 12, however I havnt used the stopwatch longer than an hour to test it.

I read another post for a different breitling (link:http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/v ... 12&t=18262), however no luck. Actually pulling the pin and pressing the start/stop and clear dont do a single thing to the watch which was a surprise.

The original post suggested that it could be a poor battery issue?????

Even though it was never used, should I consider getting it serviced anyway (its out of warranty by now)?

Thanks in advance for the help

Well the issue with yours isn't a battery - the watch doesn't have one. If it's only three years old then it shouldn't need a service, even if the watch hasn't been worn, but it definitely needs to go to Breitling to take a look and see what's going on.
