On my Skyland, if I start the chronograph, each time the chrono second hand passes the 12, the minute collector (the subdial at 12:00) clicks once. My presumption was that the 30-minute collector (the subdial at 6:00) would function the same way -- at each 30-minute interval, that hand would click. Mine does not work that way. It seems more like the half-hour collector "sweeps" throughout a 30-minute cycle. In other words, it appears to move 1/30th the distance between the two tick marks at each one-minute interval. Is this normal, or should it stay fixed on one tick mark and only click once every 30 minutes? Thanks, as always. |
