Post subject:  Dial Style Change?

I own a Breitling Crosswind and love the design except for the upright numbers in all 3 sub dials. I was wondering if Breitling would/could change these numbers from the plain, upright style to the "newer", italic style numbers?

Right now my watch is at Breitling USA for a complete service and I guess now would be the time to get something like this done, if possible.

Does anyone know if Breitling can slightly change the style of a dial?

Thanks, Eric.

:yeahthat but that's assuming they still have stocks of the Crosswind dial as it's been discontinued for a few years now. I always personally really liked the roman numerals on the Crosswind....

Agreed.

The Roman numerals look very classy.

I can guarantee You, that Breitling will refuse putting a Chrono Evo dial into a Crosswind.
But You can still put Your Crosswind on the market, and, if You get a good price, go for a new Evo.

Thanks for all the replies. I wasn't very clear in my first post. I want to keep the Crosswind dial with the big Roman numerals. I just want to modify my dial slightly. I guess I will have to ask Breitling if they have an old black, Crosswind dial lying around.

When the Crosswind first came out, the sub dials had upright numbers. Actually, number #4 at the bottom of the page (see link below) is my exact watch. The newer Crosswind version, watch #2 at the bottom of the page, used a different style; the style I would like to add to my watch.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
