Hi all,

Am getting a custom strap made to fit a 20mm Breitling Tang Buckle and would like to know what is the size of the tang/ width of the pin?

Not wearing one today, but I think that all tangs / posts are the same size so if anyone is wearing one then they can measure.

It's a slightly odd question though, are the holes in your strap going to be so small that there is no tolerance?

Mine is around 2mm wide - I say "around" as with something so small it's difficult to say exactly just by putting a ruler next to it.

I'm having a strap made too and I've asked for the corresponding hole in the leather to be 2mm wide - I don't want it too loose or the pin (or whatever it's called) will rattle around in there.

I have no idea if they are all they are all the same size though.

EDIT: to clarify, mine is a 20mm buckle.
