i followed the instructions below: 1) unscrew the water-resistant crown in an anti-clockwise direction. wind the watch by 40 times clockwise turns of the crown. 2) pull the crown out to position 2, turn it anti-clock wise to adjust the calendar to the day prior to the date it is set into operation. 3) pull the crown out to position 3. turn the hands so as to make the calendar jump once when the hands pass through midnight. then adjust the hour and minute. 4) push the crown back to position 1. press it gently, turning it gently in a clockwise direction, then tighten it again until you feel some resistance. Do not force! Those are the instructions that i followed |

If the running seconds hand is not running (subdial at 3), then rotate the watch through 360 degrees as you look at it (i.e. looking at the dial turn the watch so that the 12 moves through the 3, 6 and 9 position. That should get it running if it is out of beat and not starting on its own. If that doesn't work then take it back to the AD. |

The sub dial at 3 is running. But Nothing else is running, i.e. the other two sub dials at 6 and 9, and the seconds hand is not running. |

The only bits that aren't running are the chronograph hands, and if it is now "alive" because those hands are running then that's the chronograph that's running now - read that part of the manual. |

I had everything working as it should. The chronograph set and reset as it should. THEN...the time was 5 minutes out according to sky, so i adjusted it then it stopped operating again. Can you overwind the watch? |

You said that the sub seconds is running, is that still the case (the one at 3 o'clock)? What about the main hour and minute hands (the ones attached to the centre of the watch? |

Everything has now stopped; the sub dial at 3, the main hours hand (attached to the centre) and the main minutes hand (attached to the centre). So i have now put it back in the leather case and left it for the day due to young frustration ![]() |
