Hi folks, apologies for my first post being one looking for some help.

For my 30th birthday back in February I bought myself a refurbished Colt Ocean. Love it to bits, it's a great looking watch. Unfortunately (and I know i'll probably get shouted at here :) ) it did not come with the box or docs. Don't worry, it's from a reputable source, so I know it's genuine!

Anyway, the issue... The stopwatch hands recently stopped returning to the 12 o'clock position when reset. The second hand points to 4 minutes, the minute hand points to 8 minutes. Is this just a low battery indication? My previous (albeit less prestigious) watch did something similar when the battery needed replacing.

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

You can adjust the reset on a quartz - http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/v ... 12&t=18262

It may be an indication of a low battery, but try that first.

Wow! Wasn't expecting a response that quickly, especially such a useful one.

The instructions in that other thread worked a treat, thank you so much.

Will keep an eye on it to see if it happens again. But for now I can enjoy a handsome timepiece once again. :-)

Sorry, I'll try to be slower and less useful next time
