There is a very useful and interesting article in the "articles" entitled "Adjusting Your Breitling Bracelet for Maximum Comfort" However, when I had my bracelet adjusted by my local AD its exactly the opposite on long and short side lengths. Is the adjustment dependant upon whether you wear your watch on the left or right wrist? Indeed, where do you folks hang, to left or right?
