The search let me down on this one, as did the glossary; so here goes.

I understand the Full ling jpg I've seen in some sigs, but what about the 3/4? Is there some definition for all the slang regarding size?

Thanks!

Well first off, and just because more people need to hear it, the guy that started all this mess plays some phenomenal guitar - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=328

Acceldebt (Ling Man) came up with the definitions as a fun thing in the early days of the site. I'm not sure that 3/4 ling ever got officially defined, it was always sort of bigger than a 1/2 ling, but not a full ling.

I think it's pretty much 43 - 45mm, polished SS on a bracelet. If you add diamonds then it becomes a 7/8 ling.

Hope that you're still watching us Ling Man and that 2010 is turning into a better year.

Thanks Roff, I take it a 1/2 Ling is up to 42m or is there like a 5/8 as well?

Out of curiosity, what happened to Ling man?

That sounds about right for 1/2 Ling, but has to be polished and on bracelet. Don't think that anyone ever came up with a 5/8 ling.

Ling Man just had a tough year last year.

Ok great Roff, appreciate it. I've been calling my Colt Auto II on a Pro II a Baby Breitling as a way to sell my wife on getting another. Guess I can call it a 1/2 now lol.

I hear that about Ling man, not too long ago I just got back to work after losing my job during the recession and being out of work for 10 months. I'm gratefull to have anything at this point!
