OK, newbie here!

Recently we were burgled and the creeps stole my Breitling Navitimer. It was a Fighters model I bought in 2004 and I am wondering what would be the replacement watch.

My insurance company are happy to cover the cost of a new Breitling but I do not know which would be the most comparable model now available.

As the Swiss do not have an email address I was hoping some kind soul here could help a newbie from Downunder!!!

Oh, and I miss my watch like heck.

cheers,

bam

That sucks, sorry to hear about the burglary.

The Fighters doesn't really have an equivalent model in the current line up, the regular Navitimer is probably the closest, although the subdial layout is different.

Thanks Prof.

The thing is I have an 'ordinary' Navitimer. My struggle is what variation on that theme would suit. Breitling USA came back to me overnight and suggested the Montbrilliant!

Montbrillant is a nice piece, although small (38mm). There is also the Legende or the World, but they are both quite a bit larger.
