Sorry if this has been asked before, maybe I entered the wrong search parameters.

I saw the great articles on the main page and have be searching high and low on the net and other forums. While they have all been helpful resources no one has mentioned the proper tool sizing in specifically regarding screwdrivers to adjust bracelets.

So if anyone could give the new guy a hand and let me know the proper screwdriver and spring bar tool size it would be much appreciated.

Also where would be a good online source that ships to Canada?

Also, what are some good generic tools and tool sizes to have for various other timepieces? Not necessaily for watch making but for watch fiddling. Bracelet sizing, removal, battery replacement etc....

Thanks in advance

Bergeon watch tools are well worth the money, but you can perfectly adequately get away with more generic watch tool sets that are available on eBay. A quick search on there for watch tools will reveal a few decents sets.

Thanks for the tips.

Do you happen to know what size screwdrivers the Pro II bracelet on a SA would take?

Sorry, no I don't know exactly (and I can't check as I'm wearing my Omega today!), but I would guess they are around the 2mm mark.

Usually you can invest in a small set of jewelers screwdrivers. I actually bought mine from an auto parts store! It was the smallest set they had, and they came with a lifetime warranty for under $15.
