Hi

I have had my Breitling Cronomat Evolution for 1 year now. Up until today the date would change at 12. It now changes the date at 4 ish. I have tested this by winding the time forward.

I don't always wear this watch but the battery / charge died this morning. So I moved the date on ( not by winding time forward ) to the date before today. I wound the time forward to test the date and their I found it changed at 4.

Have I damaged the watch?

How can I make the watch chang date at 12?

Many thanks

Sounds to me like a damaged date wheel. You are not supposed to change the date between the hours of 8 PM and 3 AM. In all likelihood you advanced the date while in this "danger zone". You can bend a tooth or completely break it off.

I'd suggest running it through the dates by advancing the time and noting the times each date changes. Just let us know the results.

Will most likely need to send this back to Breitling for repair.
