Hi,

This is my first post so please be gentle with me...:)

I'm trying to help out a friend with an Aerospace - it's two-tone with the Aerospace bracelet. He has managed to break the clasp and requires a new clasp. My AD has asked for the model number of the watch (that's easy - F65362) and for identification numbers etched on to the bracelet.

Unfortunately I cannot find any numbers etched on to the bracelet; please can anyone confirm if they exist and if so, where they would be? Or can anyone confirm the bracelet reference number the AD is seeking?

Many thanks in advance.

The numbers that they are looking for are on the endlinks of the bracelet - the ones nearest the case, and should be on the underside. One is the week and year of manufacture and the other is the bracelet reference, which for this watch should be 126E.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome and for the information.

Looking at your list of bracelet reference numbers at http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles ... elet.shtml, it seems that 126E is the reference for the Professional bracelet. The bracelet on the watch is not the Professional bracelet but has two-tone rounded, almost cylindrical links and I believe it was known as the 'Aerospace' bracelet.

I don't have the watch in front of me and so cannot check, but I am almost sure there are no markings on the endlinks on the bracelet. Any thoughts on what the reference number may be for the Aerospace bracelet?

Oh OK, that's the earlier one than the Pro I - sorry, I missed that. From memory there never was a reference on that as it was only ever offered for the one model. Just tell the AD that it's the Aerospace bracelet.

I have the all titanium version of the Aerospace bracelet (1998 model) and the only marks on it are "AE" on one of the end links. Steve

Welcome to the site. In my experience, people are quite friendly and unassuming here.
